As an actor you may not always want to attend a weekly class but you will want to keep consistently developing your skills, maintaining your confidence, networking with other actors and receiving feedback, which is why I created these 3 hour one off Monthly Masterclasses.
Each class is stand alone and focuses on a particular area of acting.
Classes are £38.00pp. You are paying for a one off class and there is no commitment to any further classes.
Places are limited and your place is only confirmed once you have paid.
This class is for over 18's. Classes are designed to meet the requirements of all experience levels.
Saturday 7th February 2026, 2-5pm Scripted Stagefighting - NOW ON SALE
A practical, high-energy workshop focused on safe, believable stagefighting and grounded dramatic performance.This session will introduce the fundamentals of scripted stagefighting — including safety, intention, physical storytelling, and camera awareness — before building those skills into a filmed dramatic scene.
Actors will:
Learn the basics of stagefighting technique and safety
Explore how conflict, stakes, and character drive physical action
Work with scripted material to choreograph and rehearse a fight sequence
Film the scene, focusing on truth, tension, and clarity on camera
The emphasis is on storytelling through conflict, not flashy moves — making the work honest, controlled, and usable for screen or stage.
Saturday 7th March 2026, 2-5pm Bringing a Script to Life - This class will go on sale on February 8th
Actors will be given a script on the day (unless dyslexia or reading difficulties apply, in which case it will be sent in advance). Over three hours, we’ll lift the text off the page, explore character, intention and subtext, and play with different interpretations — just as actors are required to do professionally.
Monthly classes run in Central Birmingham at The Crescent Theatre.
